My current exercise is walking in water. The problem with this is that it becomes very hard to monitor how much you've done. If you wait until your muscles say "I'm tired" as I did today, when you get out of the pool your muscles say "OH MY GOD, GRAVITY -- I AM GOING TO DIEEEEEE."

My arms and legs just hurt.

I have done water exercise, I can atest to this effect.
it is a very freaky feeling.

(nod) I so understand this. I used to have a water exercise class when I worked at UC Berkeley that I just loved. But it was on the other side of campus. And I had to walk ALL the way across campus (about 1/2 mile, I think) UPHILL to get back to work. Man was I tired by the time I got there!

Good for you for doing it, though! (You're doing better than I am right now. *sigh* Gotta get me some exercise...)
