From my very first LJ entry: "Maybe tomorrow I'll write about the most important story in sports -- the Buccaneer's new coach (heh heh heh)."
From my *second* Lj entry: "I have been good -- only once have I spoken to a Raiders fan and gloated over Jon Gruden going to Tampa. People are mourning his departure -- except for me. I haven't been this happy about an upcoming NFL season in years.
Over the past several years, it's become not embarrassing to be a Buccaneers fan. Perhaps since they ditched the orange and red for the red and pewter, they are not seen as the pitiful dregs of the NFL. I don't know that I want them to become too popular, though, I would hate to be part of a trend. : >"
